Brigadeiros FAQ

How do I get the creamiest taste from my brigadeiros?

Before having your brigadeiros, remove them from the fridge and let them sit at room temperature for 15 minutes. They will have the creamiest taste—so delicious that it is really difficult to have only one!

How long will my brigadeiros last?

They have a best before date of one month after production. You can find the best before date on the label located at the back of the box. You can also freeze them up for 90 days. Real food doesn't last too long and our brigadeiros are a delicate treat.

How can I keep my brigadeiros fresh?

Brigadeiros should always be kept refrigerated. However, they are safe to be kept at room temperature for up to 5 days.

How do I unfreeze my brigadeiros?

You can just thaw them in the fridge for two hours or keep them at room temperature for 30 minutes before having them.

Do brigadeiros contain gluten?

Some flavours are naturally gluten free (Classic, White Chocolate and Coconut), but please check our Nutritional Info. Note that we use the same utensils to prepare all flavours. While we follow all cleaning and sanitize protocols, even the naturally gluten-free flavours may have traces of gluten as a result. If you have a gluten allergy, we recommend you avoid eating our brigadeiros.

Cheese Bread FAQ

How do I pronounce “pão de queijo”?

The exact translation of “pão de queijo” is cheese (queijo) bread (pão) and you can say “pown-deh-kay-zho”.

Is the cheese bread certified gluten free?

Our cheese bread is naturally gluten free and we use specific utensils to prepare our dough. However, our products are prepared in a shared kitchen and we currently cannot get a gluten-free certification for that reason. If you have any kind of allergy related to gluten, we recommend that you wait until we are able to get the certification before consuming our products.

Can I cook the cheese bread in the microwave?

We do not recommend cooking our products in a microwave. The dough will not rise properly, and you will likely be disappointed in the end result.

Do I need to thaw the rolls before baking?

No, they are ready to bake and go directly from freezer to oven, so you can spend more time with the people you love.

When do Brazilians eat cheese bread?

Cheese bread has become ingrained in everyday life and is ever-present at special events and gatherings. It brings people together and lifts their spirits during breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack time or any time.
